Andrea Caballero is a visual artist from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. 
Andrea is currently a student at The Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. She is in the process of obtaining a BFA in Painting, with Minors in Art History, Drawing, and Printmaking
She was awarded the Frances Larkin McCommon Scholarship, which is a full tuition scholarship awarded for superior artistic achievement. She has since been in the Dean’s List with a 4.0 GPA throughout her entire time at SCAD.
Recently, Andrea was nominated and selected by professors and department chairs for the Fine Arts 2024 NYC Allcott Trip, which took place in March 2024. She was later a part of the ‘Friends of Gene’ Exhibition, held at Kai Lin Art in May 2024. Read more here.
During the summer in 2023, Andrea was awarded an Internship at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She was a Roswell L. Gilpatric Intern, which is a part of The Museum Seminar (MuSe) Internship program.
As she completes her studies, she has held several student positions at SCAD, and is currently a Resident Assistant.
